Silence at the Lake House 

After a difficult divorce, Jack Thompson moves with his son to an old house on the shore of an isolated lake, hoping for a fresh start. But the town watches them from a distance, as if it carries a warning no one dares to voice. No one talks about the lake. No one mentions the house. Whenever Jack gives their new address, conversations grow shorter and people avert their eyes.

Inside the house, the silence behaves as if it has a will of its own. The lake’s water never moves, the wood creaks at strange hours, and the structure seems to react to their presence.
